Some user's shortcut to the Documents folder does not get updated when the computer is rebooted.  To resolve this, do the following:

1. Save and close any documents you're working on.

2. Locate the Search box either directly to the right of the Start button

or in Windows 7, at the bottom of the Start menu

3. In the Search box, type gpupdate /force

4. A black command box will open.  After several seconds, it will prompt you to log off.  Type Y to log off.

5.After logging back on, confirm that you can now access all your documents in the Documents folder.
