ISSUE: You open any Microsoft Office 365 application and you see a message that says something like "We're having trouble verifying your Office 365 account on this computer. Most features will be turned off on MM, DD, YYYY"

We have noticed this issue is often related to a recently changed password, or not having restarted your computer for a few days. 

RESOLUTIONTry these options in order.

  1. Restart your computer and log back in. Check if issue is resolved.
  2. In any Office 365 application (Outlook, Word, Excel), go to File > Account.
    • If you see a 'Sign In' button, go ahead and sign in. You will be prompted to enter your email and password.
    • If you see your user information listed, click on the 'Sign out' link.
      • After clicking 'Sign out', you'll see a prompt to Remove Account. Go ahead and click 'Yes'. Follow the prompts to sign in.
