1. Log into office.com with your sfopera.com email address and your Old password. Once logged into office.com, click on your profile avatar circle with your initials or picture in the upper right-hand corner (#1 below).

2. Just below your profile circle, click on "View account" (#2 below)

3. On the Left side of the screen, select Password (#3 below)

4. Type in your Old password, Create new password following the Strong password rules, Confirm new password, and select Submit (#4 below). It will be helpful to confirm that it's really you through a PIN on your cell phone or personal email address.

  • You will have to enter your new password the next time you use an Office 365 application with different browsers or on different devices.

  • Remote Access (RDP) users should login to their SF Opera desktop with their new password and restart their computer; PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS and ensure you select "Restart." If you accidentally select shut down, your computer will be offline, and you will be unable to access it remotely until someone physically turns it back on while in the office.

  • The next time you are in Microsoft Outlook, you will want to click on the Mimecast tab at the top, then “Account Settings.” Then click on the orange “Authenticate” button for “Domain Authentication” and enter your new password. We do not currently use Cloud Authentication.
